Repointing
Over the years, weathering and decay creates gaps in the joints between bricks, masonry and stonework, allowing water to seep into the fabric of your building.

The repointing process
First we will assess your property, explain what work is required, give you a quote and time-scale of when it can be completed.
In some cases only partial repointing may be required. In these cases we will do our best to match the new mortar for colour and texture for an aesthetically pleasing finish.
Repointing preparation: First we will remove the damaged pointing with powerful Angle Grinders and chisels. Great care is taken to allow a good bond with the masonry and not to damage the bricks or stone.
Repointing application: New mortar is applied by hand and is a highly skilled operation ensuring a firm bond and a clean profile – for the results to stand the test of time.
